Client: Proposed project for Save the Bees, a non-profit corporation that organizes bee research, environmental restoration projects, and streamlines funding to other organizations taking action to better our bees and our environment. Founded in 2020 with a goal of raising awareness on the current pollinator situation. The brand utilizes infographics and flat illustrations to make the large-scale impact of bees easier to comprehend.
Ask: I wanted to synthesize some of the main points of the campaign into an infographic that would efficiently spread the message of the campaign.
Deliverable: A printed postcard infographic, which was broken down further into bit-sized social media graphics.
Design: Save the Bees already has a clean, bold brand aesthetic, so I wanted to use that as a jumping off point and challenge myself to convey the enormous, global impact of these creatures in a concise, immediate way. I kept my icons simpler than the illustrative styles the brand utilizes on their website, and played with a honeycomb background to tie the different sections together.
